The dxp generators rely on textures as a base element in creating scenes. The Texture device provides resizing, alpha channel creation, gray scale conversion, seamless tiling and image smoothing.

Generators in dxp use color tables or color gradients to dyamically colorize images. The HSV device provides a method to build color gradients for the generators. The ColorTable device takes a different approach to building a source for colorizing.

Most generators have the abiltiy to move through 3D space. The Path device is for building the curved paths those generators follow.

The emittz and slinx generators can select a shape for a particular scene. These shapes are defined using the Shape device.

Libraries, or sets, are built and/or rearranged in dxpTool for use in dxpCompose projects.
